It was a wonderful evening with 25 people attending.
We reserved a nice venue at the Hill Air Force Base Landing Club and catered an excellent dinner from Maddox.
I was excited to see so many Supply Corps Officers meet for the 1st time and have an instant bond. Shortly after Captain Greg and Fe Johnson walked into our room, Captain Earl and Donna Johnson walked in. I introduced them together and they spent the rest of the night talking about their family ancestorial lines in Scotland.

After Ms. Stapley’s presentation, SKCM Barker presented Ms. Stapley with a plague and the Navy Supply Corps Foundation Coin and a Golden Spike, signifying Driving the Point Home from the transcontinental Railroad back in 1869 in Utah.
CAPT Earl Johnson and SKCM Sheila Barker were presented with the Foundation’s Challenge Coin to recognize them for their service.
CAPT Stew Nelson was presented with a plague recognizing recent efforts on the Chapter web site. CAPT Greg Johnson reminded everyone to plan on attending the Navy Ball in October 2025. More info will be coming.
Our Spring Social was a great success and we had a lot of fun listening to each other’s Sea Stories.
