Sherwood Presser Quilts of Valor Presenter

This is Sherwood Preece.  I am a Navy Retired Veteran.  I served from 10/1969 to 11/1989.  I started out as a NAV ET for submarine serve and spent three years on the Henry L Stimson SSBN655.  Change my rating from an ET (Electronic Tecnician) to a TD (Tradevman).  This was anything dealing with training.  Offset printing, drafting, wood working, minor device repair and maintenance, engraving and photography.  Then I maintained and operated a flight simulator.  Then they did away with the TD rating and I was a storekeeper.  Storerooms and warehouses.  In March of 2022 I became a life member of the DAV in which I am the Junior Vice Commander.  Part of the Honor Guard.  Also joined the American Legion, now post 140 and part of their honor guard.  I am also on the board of the Utah Cold War Veterans Foundation, and we award the Utah Cold War Victory Medals to Utah Veterans.
